Andy Jarret has pointed out that there is google maps on your mobile!

Ok, so it is not quite as cool as it could be, it does not have any GPS interface or such but it does give you road level maps on your phone for free!

These guys are just too cool!

Google Maps is currently available in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the US only. Sorry!

If you pan to Australia you can still see my house.

Ok so the search stuff doesn't work just yet but it is still very cool!

With Google Maps for Mobile, If a gps is present in a phone it uploads information about cell towers nearby to Google so that other users without a gps can get similar information.
